SeXBox Version 2

Version 1 was a raging success, so now it's time to make a version that's actually safe. The new SeXBox v2 uses plugs embedded in the controller, so now you can hook it up to anything from vibe eggs to electrified cock rings. Go forth and force feedback!

Juice: Electricity for Pleasure and Pain

Here at Slashdong, we really aren't looking to hook electrodes directly into your crotch. Some people are into that, and that's cool. We respect electricity, however, we don't wanna fuck it. Even so, it's always nice to know the limits you can put yourself to, just so you know what's safe and what's stupid when you decide to start sex toy engineering projects of your own. Learning about electricity is an absolute must if you're going to try any of our projects. Now, there's no replacement for a good physics text book. Surprisingly though, very few physics text books talk about electricity in terms of how they affect human body parts with lots of nerve bundles that will most likely be very wet. So, we recommend Juice in place of that.

For those of you that are too cheap and just want shit for free, we also plan on doing a few electronics, soldering, and "This is how sex toys work" tutorials in the near future. Still, $13 is a small price to pay so that we can blame someone else for you frying your thighs.

So I'm obviously a big geek. I've modded sex toys to video game controllers, I have a website with a gigantic floating circuit board dildo as the header, yeah, it doesn't get much worse than this. That's why I got so incredibly fucking proud when I saw someone say this line on one of the forum threads about the SeXBox:

"Dude, you realize this is the first step to everyone's Holodeck fantasies, right?"

Yup. In the future, when, because you CAN, you're having sex just with whatever wacky thing your imagination comes up, hopefully people will think back and remember the meager beginnings, when all we had was a dildo, a video game, and too much time on our hands.

Also, the narcissism of my rampant referer watching has pulled up some really interesting pages in the last few days. I have to say one of my favorites has been SexyFandom. It's so nice to know I'm not the only person joining geek and sex into an unholy pairing of DOOM.
